Terms & Conditions for Miss….
1. Booking Payments Deposits & Ordering
Upon booking an Appointment at Miss a small fee of £20.00 will be charged, this will include refreshments for you and your party as well as having the shop to yourself for one and a half hours to try on a selection of gowns, If you cannot decide on your first visit and would like to return this repeat appointment will be Free of charge.
All Bridal gown deposits are non refundable, and once the order has been placed with the Designer it cannot be cancelled under any circumstances and the balance payment will be due upon arrival. Colour and styles are subject to the customers own choice and Miss does not take any responsibility in circumstances where the customer changes their mind regarding colour or style upon arrival.
In the case of any order placed whilst pregnant or on behalf of someone who is pregnant, sizes are impossible to gauge as we cannot predict, Once the order is placed it is at the customers own risk. Miss will not be responsible for gowns ordered under these circumstances that do not fit, and whilst every effort will be made to alter the gown Miss will not be held responsible should this prove unsuccessful.
Full payment on the balance of the gown is due on delivery to Miss and it is deemed as satisfactory acceptance of the product by the payer. Payment in full must be received prior to any alteration work and NO refunds will be given after the balance has been paid.
4. Sizes & Alterations
All gowns are made to order in a set size based on the customers Bust, waist & Hip measurements, but the gowns are not made to measure (Couture) every attempt is made to gauge the best fitting size by comparing the above mentioned measurements to the relevant designer’s size chart; however alterations may still be required. Should you wish your gown to be altered using the service provided by Miss it will be at an extra cost which varies according to the work needed. Prices are not set or received by Miss but by own Seamstress with who Miss is affiliated. Any estimated alteration costs are not deemed as binding but are given as a guide, the actual cost will vary according to the complexity of the work needed. Several fittings may be required. All measurements supplied by the client in order to determine dress size, are done at the clients own risk. Full payment of any alteration work is to be paid prior to gown collection.
5. Delivery & Differences
Gowns on order may arrive with minor detail differences to the sample gown, as each dress is made to order.
Time estimates given for delivery are approximate timescales from suppliers and may vary; exact delivery dates are never supplied
6. Purchased Sample gowns
Any sample gowns purchased in a sale may have minor damage/marks and therefore are heavily discounted. They are sold as seen unless Miss gives notice to the client of any intended repair work. Please note that if you would like Miss can arrange the Dry cleaning of a Sample gown through an External Company this would be at an extra cost to yourself and must be paid in advance.
Refunds on sale gowns will not be given.
None of the above Terms & Conditions affect your legal rights where goods are faulty or miss –described.
