I found my beautiful dress here and we made a matching Cape for a Welsh wedding! Jo was great as I am a mature bride but wanted to feel elegant. The choice of gowns was good also.

When do I start looking for a dress?
We recommend that you start looking for a dress 10 months before your wedding day. This will give you plenty of time to gather ideas and inspiration and leave you enough time to place your order and adhere to our designers lead time.
How do I make an appointment?
At Miss we offer a ‘by appointment only’ service to ensure each bride experiences our unique service. You can make an appointment by contacting Miss by phone or email on the Contact Us section. Or you may want to contact us via Facebook or Twitter.
What can I expect at the appointment?
Buying your wedding gown should be an enjoyable and fun experience. So, we celebrate your experience at Miss with a glass of bubbles when you walk through the door. Your initial appointment will last 1 hour 30 minutes, during which you can expect to try on many different styles of gowns. We advise you stay ‘open minded’ if we suggest some styles you may not have thought of, even if initially you do not like them as you may be surprised as to what suits you and what doesn’t. We will between us find you a gown that will complement your type of wedding, body shape and your personality. Our dresses prices range between £1,400 and £4,500.
How do I pay for my dress?
We require an initial non-refundable deposit at the time of purchasing your gown. This will be 50% of the total price. The balance needs to be paid upon Miss receiving delivery of your gown. Please be aware that once the deposit has been paid, no monies are refundable. Any alteration fees will be due when you come in for your final fitting
Who shall I bring with me?
Buying your wedding dress should be one of the most exciting days of your life and it is tempting to share it with everyone. However, too many opinions can be confusing and overwhelming. So, at Miss we suggest you bring no more that three guests.
What should I wear?
We suggest you wear flesh coloured, seamless underwear if possible. Along with a good, uplifting strapless bra this will help any gown look at it’s best. We provide shoes for your appointment, but as soon as you have purchased your actual wedding shoes, we suggest you bring them to all future appointments as they may affect your alterations.
What can I expect for ‘my fitting’ appointment?
Once your gown has been delivered to Miss, we will invite you to come in for your first fitting where we will make any alterations due to measurements that may have changed since we last saw you. Once these alterations have been made, we will invite you back for your final fitting. We will then steam or press your gown as appropriate and it will be ready for collection.
Do you charge for appointments?
Our policy is to charge £20 for your first appointment. The reasons for this are that we are only a small boutique with limited appointments available and we pride ourselves on delivering an amazing personal experience. We also have had brides simply not turn up without notifying us, which takes away a valuable appointment from those who may have needed it. If you need to cancel the appointment we will of course refund you, as long as you notify us 48hrs prior to the arranged appointment. Please note that your appointment request will not be submitted until you have paid the £20 fee. This is done via Paypal our secure payment provider. You do not need an account for this and you can simply use the secure ‘Pay by Credit or Debit card’ option. If you need to return to Miss with friends or loved ones to assist you in deciding on your dress, please use the Contact Us page or call us and we will arrange a mutually agreeable time. All follow up appointments are free of charge. If you would like to enquire about a different date or time for an appointment, please use the Contact Us page.
